Non-Resident Montana Elk Hunting Application Process-Starting January 3, 2011

If you’re planning to hunt in Montana for 2011 now is the time to get your application into Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks.  Guaranteed Outfitter Sponsored Tags are no longer available, which means you will be entered into the general drawing for 2011.  However, based on industry-expert discussions, your opportunities for drawing should be much better than previous years.  You should have nearly an 80% opportunity at drawing.

Applying for The Combination Elk & Deer, even if you don’t plan to hunt deer should give you better drawing opportunity. 

1. Reserve your dates with Dome Mountain Ranch 800-313-4868.  We will require a $500.00 deposit to hold your dates.  If you are not drawn for a license, your deposit will be refunded or rolled-over to 2012.
2. Go on-line to Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks and complete the license application.
3. Please save your application materials and forward to jim@domemountainranch.com so we may assist you in the drawing process.
4. Party Applications are available.  If you plan to hunt with a group, select the party application process.  This is an “all or nothing” option.
